OnePoll conducted a study of 2,000 American dog-owners to examine all the ways they show their love for their pooch. The research was commissioned by pet food company JustFoodForDogs as part of a PR and media campaign to mark National Love Your Pet Day.

The research revealed 72% of respondents would gladly put themselves in harm’s way to save their dog.
Four in five (78%) said they considered their dog a full-fledged member of the family. Of those respondents married or in a relationship (79%) over half (53%) admitted to kissing their hound more than their partner.
JustFoodForDogs published the research findings on their own website and shared across social media channels. Together with our earned media division 72Point, we distributed a survey-led news story with visual assets - securing extensive coverage for the brand.
